gives me some hope

went to the green yet again, and fished the waterfall at flaming geyser, threw a matt hammered nickel rvrfsher spoon with a 1/0 matzuo hook and vision swivels, no hits, but, saw about an 8lb chromer come out of the water... the summers are coming, just a matter of waiting it out

no steelhead but but a good surprise

went down to the green river at flaming geyser today in search for some early summer runs, i was throwing a gold lil cleo with dual swivels and single mustad 2/0 siwash hook, ten casts or so went by and then wham!, this thing exploded on my spoon like a torpedo, it took a good amount of line several times on my steelhead setup ( 8'6" light action, exceler real wound with 10 lb. izer high viz) and thats exactly what i thought it was til it came out of the water a good two feet, anywya about 2 minutes later a landed it to find out it was a three lb sea run cutthroat, which was released just after a picture was snapped... still no steelies out of the green but july is just around the corner
